Spanish fashion brand Desigual started an innovative marketing campaign in Berlin, Germany, offering huge discounts to shoppers who turn up in their underwear.
The marketing campaign drew huge attention because Desigual was giving away free clothes to the first 100 customers who turned up in their underwears on June 16 at the brand's premier shop in Berlin’s Tauentzienstrasse.
The shop drew huge crowds as many people were amused to see men and women, in their underwear, shop. What is more amazing is that at least 400-500 people had queued up overnight in front of the store, semi-naked.
The line of people drew so much attention from passing motorists that the police was forced to tell the store to open its doors 30 minutes early.As the door opened, shoppers in their bras, panties and underwear rushed inside to grab items of clothings off the shelves.
While the first 100 shoppers got their clothes for free, other shoppers got 50 percent discount on all items in the summer collection.Everyone in the line was also given Desigual goodie bags.
Similar campaigns were planned for stores in New York, Stockholm, London, Amsterdam, Prague and Madrid.

Levitating
Natsumi Hayashi, an ordinary Japanese teenage girl who lives in Tokyo
with her two cats, has a unique hobby that draws other’s attention, levitating.
The photos of Natsumi’s levitation have been posted on her blog, spread around
the internet, and she has become an instant sensation.
Of course, she is not one of those X-man mutant girls with the ability to fly
in the air. And the pictures are not photoshopped to make fake images either.
The levitating photos were produced as a result of her jumping in the air and
capture by using a SLR camera with high shutter-speed.
Natsumi learned photography skills while working as an artist’s assistant for
two years and used her skills to produce creative photos that actually look as if she is levitating.
Those who have tried taking a “levitating” picture will know that this task is
easier said than done. For one, the camera has to have a very fast shutter-speed
to avoid motion blurring. But getting rid of the blurring is not convincing enough
– there are numerous Lebron James’ photos in the midair without blurs but no one will
fall into a belief that he is levitating. The person who is jumping should appear as
if she is flying, and not just jumping. And Natsumi does it just right.
Though she receives odd looks from others when jumping up and down in crowded spots,
Natsumi says she is not hindered by it.
“We all are surrounded by social stress as we are bound by the force of the earth's gravity,”
Natsumi said, “So I hope that people feel something like an instant release from stressful
practical days by seeing my levitation photos.”
Natsumi Hayashi, uma adolescente japonesa comum, que vive em Tóquio
com seus dois gatos, tem um hobby único que atrai a atenção de todos, levitar.
As fotos de levitação de Natsumi foram postada no blog dela, espalhados
a internet, e tornou-se uma sensação instantânea.
Claro, ela não faz parte dos X-man, e as imagens não foram mechidas nem são imagens falsificadas.
As fotos foram produzidas resultando do salto dela no ar e
capturar usando uma câmera SLR com alta velocidade de obturador.
Natsumi aprendeu habilidades de fotografia enquanto trabalhava como assistente de um artista e usou suas habilidades para produzir fotos criativas que realmente faz-nos acreditar que está a levitar.
Aqueles que têm tentado tirar uma foto a levitar vão saber que esta tarefa é
mais fácil dizer do que fazer. Por um lado, a câmera tem que ter uma muito rápida velocidade de obturação para evitar o desfoque de movimento.
- Há muitas fotografias Lebron James 'no ar, sem borrões, mas ninguém vai
cair em uma crença de que ele está levitando. A pessoa que está a pular deve aparecer como se ela estivesse a voar, e não apenas como se tivesse a dar um salto.
